It was announced Friday, February 7, 2020 that NewKings has advanced to the finals of the 2020 Tulsa Music Awards in the category of Christian/Gospel Artist of the Year. 

NewKings was nominated for Rock/Alternative Artist of the Year and Christian/Gospel of the Year. Voters submitted their selections throughout the month of January. The vote tally for Christian/Gospel of the Year has placed NewKings in the final five.

Voting for the finals will take place during the month March, 2020.
